Atlanta has a wide range of entertainment and shopping options, attractions, and restaurants. Discover the local art galleries and museums, explore the amusement parks and the outdoors, stroll through historic sites and buildings, eat at the fine dining establishment, and shop for antique and vintage items, or go mall hopping and take your pick. With the following one-day itinerary, you’ll surely get the real flavor of  “The Big Peach”, as it’s also known!

Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site at 10:00am!

Head to the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historic Site, and know about the early years of the United States first civil rights activist.  Next to the center is the Ebenezer Baptist Church, where Martin Luther King Jr. preached. Then stroll to the King Center, where he was buried and is the site of Dr. King’s tomb. Then a short walk to the Martin Luther King Jr. home where he was born, and other memorabilia.

Browse the World of Coca-Cola at 11:00am!

Head over to the Georgia Aquarium, the world’s largest aquarium and experience the marine life. It houses tens of thousands of sea creatures representing over 500 species. The major highlight of the aquarium is the beluga whales and sharks. It also has penguins, jelly fish, giant octopi- they’re all here in wonderful habitats. Get a feeling of strolling through the ocean!

Head over to the Bacchanalia that serves farm-fresh food. It has a four-course prix-fix menu that changes often. Every dish serves is flavorful and has a delicate touch. The home-made ice creams, cheeses, risottos are top shelf here and blue crab fritters is a popular started here.

Head over to the CNN Center and get a glimpse of the workings of the world’s leading 24-hour news channel. Take a CNN Studio tour and learn about on-screen graphics, what teleprompter is, meet the correspondents and anchors, and also check out the worldwide news in the making. You can also check out the video clips of top 100 news stories that the channel has covered. It also has a gift shop that has an imitative newsroom setup where you get an opportunity to deliver the news manning an anchor’s desk.

Go Shopping at 5:00pm!

Head over for shopping to the Atlantic Station that houses major retailers and specialty shops covering all price range. 7:00pm- Catch a show at Fox Theater!

Catch a movie, comedy show, and ballet or opera performance at the Fox Theater. It’s a classic 1920's movie palace.

Dinner at 9:00pm!

10:00pm- The A-town starts heating up as the sun goes down!

Glam up for a night filled with dancing, drinks and music. Head over to the CosmoLava (45 13th Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, United States), a chic nightclub in the ATL. Dance to the music that ranges from 80s to house and hip-hop music to industrial beats and enjoy the cocktails. Or hit the dance club Opera NightClub (1150 Crescent Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30309, United States). Or visit the popular underground nightclub MJQ Concourse (736 Ponce De Leon Avenue NE, Atlanta, GA 30306, United States).Dance and listen to the famous DJs at the MJQ.

12:00am-Nightcap at Sister Louisa's Church!

Head over to the bar named as Church for late night drinks and eats. Drink the bar’s signature drinks, belt out the song you like at karaoke, or a play a ping-pong game.
